Don't you hate it when you click 'pricing' on a website and you get a form requiring you to get in touch for a custom quote? I know I do.

Thankfully most software suppliers are now much more transparent about their pricing than they used to be.

I am an ERP consultant who charges out on a daily/hourly rate.

• If work is done for clients from home office my rate is £400/day or £50/hour
• If work is done for clients within 1 hour travel time from my home office my rate is £600/day or £75/hour
• If work is done for clients more than 1 hour travel time from my home office then my rate is £800/day or £100/hour

All of my projects involved me working as a project PM on a part-time basis with full-time 'bursts' as required by the project.
